Server Room over 100 degrees…

In case you were in your classroom tonight (Wed Aug 31st) and was wondering what was going on….  

Some non essentials were turned off temporarily. This included printing services, access to the copiers, video camera systems, Breakthrough to Literacy, etc.  The reason:  the air conditioning system in server room quite.  We have redundant AC units – but both units failed at the same time.  As temperatures in the room climbed above 100 degrees, we needed to turn off non-essential systems.

We’re hopeful that the situation will be resolved shorty and that we can return all services.

Planned District-Wide Phone outage planned for Wed Aug 31st from 4:15pm to 5:00pm

We have some adjustments that must be made to the district phone system –     we will hold off until the end of the school day, specifically waiting until the buses have returned, which should be about 4:15pm.  It will impact phone services at all schools for approximately 45 minutes.
